You can either search for reviews made by users just like you, you could watch a few of the podcasts to see which ones you like the best, or you can search the ones iTunes highlights as the best. To find the best video podcasts, you should use a combination of the three to find the ones you'll be more likely to watch over and over again.

Updates

The best video podcast will be updated often. It may be updated daily or weekly. The more often the best video podcast is updated, the more content you'll have to work with and the longer you're likely to subscribe. It's exciting when you have a new video from the podcast and that's why you want one with frequent updates.

Lots of Episodes

It may seem as though frequent updates and lots of episodes are synonymous, but that's just not the case. ‘Lots of episodes' implies that the content is always original and that there are many episodes to choose from, not just new content. This happens when a podcast has been around for some time. This generally would make it one of the best video podcasts as it's popular enough to have some longevity.

Length

Finally, length is important. If the podcast is so short that it ends too quickly, you won't be as likely to subscribe as there's little substance there. However, if you can work out during a video or you can watch it while you wait for the doctor, that's one of the best video podcasts and you're more likely to subscribe as you will have plenty of material to watch.
